The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology selects excellent examples of educational improvement implemented by various universities for financial support in the form of subsidies, etc. Many of the University’s applications have been accepted. Even after the projects have come to an end, we are required to continue sharing the benefits and utilizing them across the university.

○Main projects selected in the past few years

Many of the numerous programs submitted by Kyushu University for the Good Practice (GP) Project were adopted. The following are recent examples selected for GP at Kyushu University.

＊WISE Program (Doctoral Program for World-leading Innovative & Smart Education)

Supporting the creation and utilization of new knowledge, creating value that leads the next generation, and fostering advanced “knowledge professionals” by clearly defining the profile of individuals to be cultivated. Assisting in the development and implementation of a consistent degree program from the doctoral preliminary course to the postgraduate course.

To enhance the research capabilities in critical national strategic sectors, support will be provided to doctoral postgraduate students engaging in research and development that contributes to the field. This includes sufficient financial aids.
