The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology selects excellent examples of educational improvement implemented by various universities for financial support in the form of subsidies, etc. Many of the University’s applications have been accepted. Even after the projects have come to an end, we are required to continue sharing the benefits and utilizing them across the university.

○Main projects selected in the past few years

Many of the numerous programs submitted by Kyushu University for the Good Practice (GP) Project were adopted. The following are recent examples selected for GP at Kyushu University.

This program is designed to establish and develop an integrated master's and doctoral degree program of guaranteed quality, which will lead to the creation and utilization of new knowledge and create value that will drive next generation thoughts. Establishing a clear image of the human resources to be cultivated in order to develop knowledgeable professionals.

This program aims to strengthen financial support for outstanding, aspiring doctoral students who will play a leading role in the future of science, technology, and innovation in Japan, and to promote the development of a variety of career paths for doctoral personnel to play an active role in a wide range of fields.

This program aims to support efforts to enhance the educational environment in universities working to bolster their international recognition and international competitiveness through bold university reform and internationalization initiatives.

Kyushu University’s project was categorized as Type A (Top Type), which is the category for universities conducting world-class education and research that have the potential to be ranked in the top 100 in world university rankings.
