On November 22, 2021, Kyushu University was selected as a "Designated National University Corporation" by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.

Designated National University Corporations are required to compete with the world's leading universities in an internationally competitive environment, and are expected to actively disseminate the specific results of their efforts to contribute to the development of society and the economy, and to play a role as a promoter of national university reform.

Based on the vision and priority measures set forth in the "Kyoto University Vision 2030", we will systematically promote the initiatives set forth in the Designated National University Corporation Concept.
