Types of Entrance Examinations, and Their Implementation Periods and System
At Kyushu University, we implement general entrance examinations in undergraduate schools, as well as AO (admissions office) entrance examinations (I & II), admission based on recommendations by senior high school principals, international entrance examinations, entrance examinations for Japanese students who have been educated overseas, privately-funded international students and the international course. (Starting in fiscal year 2027, the Next-Generation Researcher Discovery Entrance Examinations (I and II) will be implemented.)
Furthermore, we work in cooperation with the National Center for University Entrance Examinations, and administers the common test for university admissions together.
During the implementation of entrance examinations, faculty members are required to attend as examination directors.
